CHART SURVEY/ENCUESTA #2
Deadline to complete: Midnight, June 22, 2022 

The second CHART survey will take anywhere from 5-8 minutes to complete and is organized into SIX sections - Culture, History, Art, Truth, Reconciliation and About Me. The survey includes important questions about history, monuments, community, and belonging. Survey responses will inform recommendations to the City of Santa Fe Governing Body at the conclusion of the CHART contract (August 2022).  Your voice matters!

Here are some of the questions in survey #2:

• "Events hosted by the City of Santa Fe celebrate my culture(s)."  (Strongly Agree - Strongly Disagree scale)

• "The City of Santa Fe encourages visitors to understand the multicultural community of Santa Fe." (Agree/Disagree scale)

• "The K-12 educational curriculum needs to do a better job of teaching the complex history of Oga Po'gay/Santa Fe ." (Agree/Disagree scale)

• "Public input should be part of the process for objecting to public monuments, memorials, and works of art." (Agree/Disagree scale)

• "What should be done with Soldier's Monument ('Obelisk') on the Santa Fe Plaza?" (Multiple choice)

• "Overall, I feel a strong sense of BELONGING in Santa Fe - I am accepted for who I am and community cares about my well-being." (Agree/Disagree scale)

• "A reconciliation process (confronting the past in order to create a healthier future) needs to be a priority for the City of Santa Fe." (Agree/Disagree scale)

Esta encuesta tomará entre 5 a 8 minutos para completar y está organizada en SEIS secciones: Cultura, Historia, Arte, Verdad, Reconciliación y Acerca de Mi. La encuesta

incluye preguntas sobre monumentos, eventos culturales, desafíos a los que se

enfrentan las personas de Santa Fe y pertenencia. Sus comentarios informarán las recomendaciones al Consejo de Administración de Santa Fe al final del

proyecto CHART.

• "Los eventos organizados por la Ciudad de Santa Fe celebran mi(s) cultura(s)."

• "La Ciudad de Santa Fe alienta a los visitantes a comprender la comunidad multicultural de
  Santa Fe." 

• "El currículo educativo K-12 necesita hacer un mejor trabajo de enseñanza de la compleja
  historia de Oga Po'gay/Santa Fe." 

• "La Ciudad de Santa Fe debe pedir a los residentes sus opiniones cuando tomar decisiones sobre monumentos públicos, memoriales y obras de arte."

• "¿Qué se debe hacer con el Monumento al Soldado (“Obelisco”) en la Plaza Santa Fe?"

• "En general, tengo un fuerte sentido de PERTENENCIA en Santa Fe: me aceptan por lo que soy y la comunidad se preocupa por mi bienestar."

• "La reconciliación (confrontar el pasado para crear un futuro más saludable) debe ser una prioridad para la Ciudad de Santa Fe."
